Policymakers and decision-makers interested in the impact of design, technology, and innovation on society and the economy

Students and educators seeking to stay informed about the latest developments in these fields

IJODTIP will consider the following types of submissions:

Research articles: These should report on original empirical research using a variety of methodologies.

Theoretical articles: These should develop new theoretical frameworks or provide critical analysis of existing theories related to contemporary education.

Review articles: These should provide a comprehensive overview of current research on a specific topic in contemporary education.

Book reviews: These should critically evaluate recent books relevant to the journal’s scope.

Case studies: These should present and analyze a specific educational experience or program.

Graduate Theses/Dissertations: Ways for doctoral and master’s students to leverage their thesis/dissertation work for the journal:

Develop journal articles: Thesis and dissertation chapters can often be adapted into shorter, more focused journal articles that address a specific research question or finding within the larger study.

Pilot studies: If your thesis/dissertation included a pilot study, you could potentially submit that as a separate article to IJODTIP, especially if it explores a new methodology or tackles a novel aspect of the research topic.Literature review: A strong literature review chapter from your thesis/dissertation could be reworked into a standalone review article for IJODTIP, providing valuable background and context for other scholars in the field.
